I have made thousands of dollars promoting products through YouTube videos. YouTube is one of the best places to market high-ticket items because you can reach a large audience with your videos.
To get started, you can create a channel on a specific niche. Or, if you have one, you should already have a few high-ticket programs in mind. If you can’t find any in your niche, probably that niche is not suitable for high-ticket items.
For each product, you want to promote, create a video review or tutorial. You can also do unboxing videos if the product is physical. Once again, your main task as an affiliate is to help people make a buying decision by providing valuable and useful information about the product.
Once you have a few videos live on YouTube, start promoting them through social media and other channels. You can also run ads on YouTube to get more views for your videos.

Not only it sounds ugly, but it also forces you only to write blog posts about that one specific thing. If those products don’t sell well, or later down the road, you want to promote something else… you’re stuck.
Instead, I recommend starting a blog with a more general name in your niche. For example:
- NomadicMatt .com (about travel)
- JohnDoeFitness .com (about fitness)
- BradCopperz .com (about anything you want)
The other reason… You want to build a brand around your blog rather than a small niche website that used to work back in the day. These days, it’s all about creating a brand, an audience, and selling high-ticket products to that audience.

- Who is it for?
- How does it work?
- What are the benefits?
- Is it worth the price tag?

I recommend spending a few hours each week growing your YouTube channel. It doesn’t happen overnight, but if you’re consistent, you will see results.

The main advantage of social media is that it’s free to use. However, growing your audience on Instagram, Facebook, etc., takes time. I recommend spending at least two hours each week growing your social media accounts.

Just because you aren’t having success right away doesn’t mean you should give up. Often this has to do with the following:

- You need to be patient and keep working hard
